Final Project (Year 3-UEL)

FINAL PROJECT ACTIVITIES

1. Approval of Project Title (Project Proposal)

Students are required to submit a proposal on project title selected. The proposal should include the following items:

  • Problem Statement
  • Objective
  • Scope

Together with the Project Proposal, students are required to submit a research design & master planned time schedule

2. Journal Evaluation

Students are required to evaluate at least 2 articles. The evaluation should include the following areas:

  • Introduction (Clarity, Purpose & Understanding)
  • Analysis & Evaluation (Approach,Clarity, Outcome, Understanding & Relevance)
  • Summary & Discussion (Relevance,Breakthrough & Conclusion)

3, Journal Maintenance

Students are required to maintain a weekly journal outlining activities conducted during the week in completing the Project Paper. The journal should stipulate the weekly activites and the expected outcome of the activites.

4. Interim Presentation

Students are required to do an interim presentation. The goal of the presentation is to update theie progress and their action plan to complete the project and the final project documentation.

5. Project Documentation

Students are required to complete the project documentation and update the documentation based on the feedback gathered from the meetings with the supervisor(s). The documentation should include the following:

1. Research - Problem Statement/Objective/Scope

2. Analysis & Evaluation - Extent of analysis/Evaluation/Arguments/Critical Assessment

3. Overall Impression - Recommendation/Limitation/Conclusion

6. Final Presentation

Students are required to do a final presentation to establish their findings in the project and their experience in completing the project.
